I am Dr.S. Thiagarajamurthy, a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgeon with over three decades of experience in advanced heart and lung surgeries. My journey in medicine has taken me across India and the UK, where I have trained, practiced, and refined my expertise in complex cardiac, thoracic, and aortic procedures.

After earning my MBBS from Coimbatore Medical College, I pursued an MS in General Surgery from the University of Pune. Seeking further specialization, I completed my FRCS in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Glasgow, UK. My 10 years of training and practice in the UK at leading hospitals—including Bristol Royal Infirmary, Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Birmingham), and Walsgrave Hospital (Coventry)—helped me develop a deep understanding of pediatric cardiac surgery, thoracic procedures, and aortic surgery.

Returning to India, I founded the Cardiothoracic department at Billroth Hospital, Chennai, i was a cheif Cardio thoracic surgeon for over a decade, leading cutting-edge surgical procedures and advancing cardiac healthcare. Currently, I am the Chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore, where I continue to perform life-saving surgeries with precision, innovation, and a deep commitment to patient care.
